Bio-Cardio combines the antioxidant potential of CoQ10 with other cardio-protective nutrients and botanicals. Because Bio-Cardio promotes oxygen utilization it enhances the animal's physical stamina.

Bio-Cardio combines the unique antioxidant and cardio-protective qualities of CoenzymeQ10 (CoQ10) with the amino acid taurine‚ whose support for healthy cardiac function in cats is well established. Research on CoQ10 in animals demonstrates that it promotes the utilization of oxygen in the heart and helps maintain the health of the muscular tissue of the heart (the myocardium). The amino acid L-carnitine promotes cellular energy production in the mitochondria and supports heart muscle metabolism. Magnesium supports vascular smooth muscle tone. Unlike humans and dogs‚ cats are unable to synthesize the amino acid taurine‚ so it must be supplemented.
