D-Mannose Powder by Bio-Tech Pharmacal may work to alleviate certain symptoms associated with minor urinary tract infections (UTIs) Each serving of D-Mannose Powder provides about one gram of D-mannose‚ which is a simple sugar naturally found in fruits such as cranberries that attracts certain forms of bacteria in order to flush them out of your body more easily.
Notably‚ mannose might discourage E. coli bacteria from sticking to the inner walls of your bladder and other parts of the urinary tract. As a result‚ D-Mannose Powder may help address some UTI symptoms‚ including lower abdominal pain‚ bloating‚ or a mild burning sensation while urinating.
The recommended initial dosage for adults is one-half to one teaspoon with six ounces of water‚ three to four times daily; during the subsequent maintenance stage‚ lower your dosage to one-half to one teaspoon with water once daily.
