Bio-Tech Pharmacal’s D-Mannose Powder is a good source of mannose‚ which is a simple sugar naturally found in cranberries and other fruits that could potentially work to maintain healthy urinary tract function.
Since your body is unable to fully metabolize mannose‚ most of it ends up in your urine. When this mannose-filled urine is stored in your bladder‚ it may work to flush out E. coli and other forms of bacteria that can stick to the inner walls of your urinary tract. As a result‚ D-Mannose Powder may help address certain symptoms associated with mild urinary tract infections (UTIs)‚ including lower abdominal pain‚ bloating‚ or the urge to urinate frequently.
One adult serving of D-Mannose Powder is one-half to one teaspoon mixed with six ounces of water. Each 50-gram (1.76-ounce) container of D-Mannose Powder by Bio-Tech Pharmacal provides about 56 servings.
